About Matthew Miller
The short version
I'm Matthew Miller, a husband, father, and lifelong learner exploring questions of faith, technology, and what it means to live well in a complicated world. I share those reflections here.
By day, I'm part owner of ASON Inc., a managed IT service provider serving businesses nationally. With decades of experience in IT leadership, I'm passionate about making technology dependable and accessible for small businesses.
I live in York, PA, with my wife Danielle, my partner in life for over 30 years, and our four children. I hold a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems from Boston University and a Bachelor's in Public Policy from Penn State University.
When I'm not helping businesses strengthen their technology, you'll find me reading, writing on topics of faith, technology, and philosophy, or spending time outdoors. My faith grounds me, and I enjoy exploring how it intersects with the challenges of modern life. I'm also an avid Penn State football fan and a devoted Washington Nationals fan, and rarely miss a chance to enjoy a good game day.
Whether I'm helping a client solve an IT challenge or relaxing with family, I believe in living with purpose, integrity, and curiosity. Thanks for visiting. I'd love to connect!
A note on how this is written
The ideas here start with me. Usually something from my own life gets pressed against a text, or a text pushes back on something I've been carrying. From there I work the thesis out in conversation with Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, before there's any prose at all. We argue the shape of the piece until it holds. The drafting happens against constraints I set, and I revise what comes back until it sounds like me.
I'd rather say that plainly than let it be discovered. What I'm claiming isn't that I produced every sentence unaided. It's that these are my ideas, this is my actual thinking, and I stand behind everything published here.
